Who This Is For
Families where a parent or estate holder maintains property deeds, bank vault keys, investment certificates, jewellery, art, and personal records across multiple locations. The packet is commissioned while the holder is still able to participate — or by adult children preparing on their behalf.
What Is Included
- Two on-site visits to the primary residence and any secondary storage locations
- Photographic inventory of valuables with written descriptions
- Cross-referenced index of property deeds, lease agreements, and title documents
- Safe-deposit box and storage unit key registry with access instructions
- Written heir guidance section with distribution preferences
- Three bound copies: one for the estate holder, one for the designated executor, one held in our office archive
What Is Excluded
- Legal will drafting or probate filing (we refer to partner solicitors)
- Appraisal of market value for tax purposes
- Digital asset recovery or cryptocurrency wallet access
- Ongoing storage beyond twelve months after delivery
The Process
Week 1 — Initial consultation. We meet at your home or office for a two-hour session. You walk us through what you hold and where it lives. We provide a written scope document before any further work begins.
Weeks 2–3 — Field documentation. Our archivist visits each location you identify. We photograph, catalogue, and note access details. You review a draft inventory at the end of week three.
Weeks 4–5 — Assembly and review. We compile sections, cross-reference entries, and prepare the bound packet. A final review meeting confirms accuracy.
Week 6 — Delivery. Three bound copies are delivered. Digital photographs are provided on encrypted USB as a supplementary backup.
Preparation
Gather any keys, address lists, or prior inventories you already hold. Identify your designated executor and confirm they are willing to receive a copy. Allow access to all storage locations during the field documentation phase.
